IMPORTANT: RACE PACKETS, WAIVERS, & SAFESPORT

Race Packets can be picked up on:

  • Saturday 11/4 from 3:00-6:00pm at Lake Washington Rowing Club (910 N. Northlake Way, Seattle, WA 98103)

  • Sunday 11/5 from 6:00-8:00am at Conibear Shellhouse on the morning of the race.

RACE PACKETS WILL NOT BE RELEASED TO RACERS AND CREWS UNLESS EVERYONE IN THE LINEUP IS COMPLIANT WITH WAIVER AND SAFESPORT REQUIREMENTS.

Make sure to complete these requirements in advance of arriving at the regatta

It is IMPERATIVE that all race participants have valid USRowing waivers at the day of the race. We cannot stress this enough. Head of the Lake is a USRowing registered regatta and must comply with USRowing requirements.

USRowing Waiver

SafeSport

  • Individuals 18 years old or older in the United States are required to complete a SafeSport self-attestation to determine whether they are considered a Relevant Adult Participant, as defined by USRowing's SafeSport Policy, and thus required to complete SafeSport training. Both the self-attestation and the training can be accessed online from the USRowing Membership portal.

  • If you have issues accessing the training, please contact USRowing member support at members@usrowing.org or 609-751-0700. Member Services is available to respond Monday through Friday, 9AM-4:30PM Eastern Time.

Tips

  • Check to make sure your USRowing membership is valid for the day of the race

  • If you are racing as "Unaffiliated" and have a Basic membership, make sure it includes the Regatta Add-On

  • Ensure that your Junior and Collegiate rowers are affiliated with your school

  • Canadian schools can provide paper waivers for your students if they are not registered as USRowing members
